Bio: Sgt. Noel Beltran Ramirez Jr. was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., the son of Noel Ramirez and Sonia R. Beltran Miranda Ramirez.

Sgt. Ramirez had been a resident of Bronson since moving from Gainesville in 2011. He proudly and bravely served his community for a combined seven years in law enforcement with the Williston Police Department, the Levy County Sheriff's Office and the Gilchrist County Sheriff's Office. Summary: Sergeant Noel Ramirez and Deputy Sheriff Taylor Lindsey were shot and killed from ambush as they took their lunch break in a restaurant at 1122 East Wade Street, in Trenton.

At approximately 3:00 pm a male subject(Highnote) walked up to their table as they were eating their lunch and opened fire, totally unprovoked. The man then went to his car in the parking lot and committed suicide.
